Childhood favorites: Nancy Drew mysteries, Anne of Green Gables, Mrs. Piggle Wiggle, James and the Giant Peach, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Graduate of Yale and the Medill School of Journalism. Alum of the San Francisco Bay Guardian, the Greenville News and Forbes. Married, living in Brooklyn, two kids. Wrote a picture book as a lark and discovered writing for kids was fun, challenging, endlessly absorbing. Currently fine-tuning a MG novel.
